Tapestry Road is a creative acoustic duo with a vintage twist. Blending 1970s folk rock classics with heartfelt originals, this musical pair celebrates the songwriters who shaped a generation and continue to inspire the journey ahead.
BRENNA LARSON is a vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist who combines warmth and wit to engage audiences in her personal journey as a mother, career woman, shop-a-holic, and would-be folk diva. Brenna's album, LIKE FINE WINE, is a collection of her originals that includes poignant love stories, true confessions and anything that tickles her funny bone. Fan favorites include "Buy More Shoes," "Gray Hair Blues," and "He Loved Whiskey." Brenna began her career as a teenage folksinger in Georgia, and her Southern roots sneak up on her from time to time.
SCOTT STRAUSS is a vocalist, bassist and guitarist, as well as a songwriter with his roots in Motown from his native city of Detroit. His music career spans decades as bassist in numerous rock, funk and soul bands. He toured with numerous artists including Carl Carlton, the R&B artist best known for his hits “Everlasting Love” and “She’s a Bad Mama Jama.” Scott also performs in several tribute bands, incliding Candy-Oh (music of The Cars) and Vertigo (music of U2), in addition to his collaboration with Brenna larson.
The duo performs in the Twin Cities metropolitan area across a wide variety of venues, private events, songwriter showcases, house concerts and cafe gigs. We hope to see you at an upcoming show!
