About Brenna

Brenna Larson is an Americana singer/songwriter who combines warmth and wit to engage and entertain her audience. With rich vocals and solid finger-picking guitar skills, she mixes 60s and 70s folk, country, and blues classics with her own heartfelt and humorous originals. An authentic and engaging story-teller, Brenna takes you on a life-affirming journey that connects, stirs the emotions and makes you laugh along the way.

In 2018, Brenna celebrated the release of her first solo album,  LIKE FINE WINE,  a collection of her originals ranging from poignant stories of love and loss to the true confessions of a shop-a-holic and veteran procrastinator. Crowd favorites include "Buy More Shoes," "Gray Hair Blues," and "He Loved Whiskey." Back-up musicians on the album include legendary folksinger, Claudia Schmidt, and renowned multi-instrumentalist, Jim Henry

Reinvention is a recurring theme in Brenna’s songs and life story. From her teenage years in Atlanta, she pursued a professional folksinging career for decades before transitioning to a corporate career while raising her two daughters. When her musical career took a back burner, she continued writing and performing as time allowed.

Today, Brenna performs as a solo artist and with several groups, splitting her time between the music scenes of the Twin Cities of Minnesota and Florida’s Gulf Coast.  In Minnesota, she is part of THE HONEYBELLES acoustic duo. In Florida, Brenna leads The SHARK SISTERS, a trio of multi-talented gal pals.
