Bio

Brenna Larson is a charismatic singer/songwriter with musical influences ranging from folk and Americana to country and blues. She combines warmth and wit with compelling vocal and finger-picking guitar skills to share inspiring, heartfelt and often hilarious views on life as a creative woman in today's world. Her story-telling style and lyrics build an authentic connection with audiences that stirs the emotions and makes you laugh along the way.

Born in SW Florida, Brenna grew up in a family of classical musicians, studied voice, cello and piano, then taught herself to play guitar. From the age of 16, she performed as a professional folksinger in Atlanta, Boston and other markets for the next 20 years. Brenna began writing her own songs when she detoured into the corporate world while raising two precocious daughters. Traveling the globe as a marketing executive, her songs gave voice to the challenges of life as a working mother.

Fast-forward to today, Brenna is singing, writing, recording and touring again. Her songs chronicle her life of re-invention and anything else that tickles her funny bone. She performs as a solo artist and with The SHARK SISTERS, a lively acoustic trio performing a eclectic mix of originals and classic folk, Americana, country and blues.

Brenna's recent album, LIKE FINE WINE, is a collection of heartwarming and humorous originals that blends her poignant love songs with a few sips of true confessions. Back-up musicians on the album include legendary folksinger, Claudia Schmidt, and multi-instrumentalist, Jim Henry.
